The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industry (GAIKINDO) announced in a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday 2 February 2016 its OICA-endorsed car exhibition. According to GAIKINDO, this year car exhibition— dubbed as GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2016)— is taking place on 11-21 August 206. The press conference presented Mr Johnny Darmawan (Head of GIIAS Organising Committee), Mr Sudirman MR (1st Chairman of GAIKINDO), Mr I Gusti Putu Suryawirawan (Director General of Metal Machinery Vehicle & Electronic Industry-Ministry of Industry), Mr Jongkie D Sugiarto (Ketua I GAIKINDO), Andy Wismarsyah (President Director of Seven Events), Mr Romi (Project Director GIIAS 2016).
